These are pictures of some of the animals that we have had in our care for rehabilitation or that we have observed in the wild. 


Sometimes we get calls on animals such as elk calves and fawns, in which we investigate the situation.  We almost always recommend leaving the animal alone, as the mother may be off forging for food or hiding from humans.  In many states it is illegal for individuals or even rehabilitation facilities to take in elk and deer.  This is due to the Chronic Wasting Disease, a fatal neurological disease that has affected many of these animals in different parts of the country.  For more information on CWD, clink on

Got problems with wildlife?

Sometimes critters make a nice home in your garage or attic.  Playing loud music on a radio can make the area uninviting for them and they will leave.  If you contact an animal control service to humanely remove that animal, please make sure no babies are left behind.  For more detailed information about wildlife rescue and nuisance wildlife, check on the links on our “Wildlife Links” page (click below).
