As nature’s care providers, our goal is to give wildlife a second chance at the life they were meant to have.

Mitzi Brabb, who has dedicated the past fourteen years as a wildlife rescue and rehabilitation volunteer, recently founded Wonders of the Wild.  She has been a state licensed wildlife rehabilitator for the past five years and resides in Payson, Arizona with her husband Matt and two-year old daughter, Haley.  Although s primarily rehabs small mammals and songbirds, she has experience with a variety of mammal species.  She began her training in northern California and continued her work in Arizona when she moved here six years ago.   Her goal is to see Wonders of the Wild become a successful non-profit sanctuary for wildlife with an incorporated educational curriculum for the public.

Here's a little info about ourselves:

Matt and Mitzi met in highschool in 1985.  They reunited fifteen years later and married.  They now have a beautiful, spirited child who loves animals as much as her mommy does.  Haley turned three in February.

Almost all of our fury family members are rescued animals.
